The Last One

I’ve been showing up behind this mic since October 2018. That’s nearly seven years—over 800 episodes—of consistency, of sharing lessons, stories, and conversations to help you become the best version of yourself. So, saying this today isn’t easy.

But it’s time.

It’s time to pause the Best You Podcast. Not forever—I fully believe I’ll be back—but for now, it’s the best decision I can make.

The Real Reason Behind the Pause

The truth is, I’ve been wrestling with this decision for months. At first, it was a quiet whisper. But as I got more serious about opening the new Best You HQ gym, that whisper became a roar.

I don’t know where the gym will be yet. I don’t know the exact timeline. But what I do know is this: when it happens, I want to do it right. I want it to be excellent. I want it to be impactful. I want it to transform lives, families, and entire communities—not just physically, but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually too.

And to do that, I need to give it my full focus.

As Rory Vaden said, “If you give something diluted focus, you’ll get diluted results.” That quote hit me like a freight train. Because right now, podcasting twice a week is splitting my attention—and that’s not fair to the gym, to you, or to the mission I feel called to lead.

Why This Decision Was So Hard

I love podcasting. I love recording solo episodes and interviewing amazing guests. I love sitting down with people like Sheena Yap Chan, Dr. Josh Renkens, Bishop Kevin Foreman, and so many others to dive deep into mindset, health, relationships, and success.

But over time, the logistics—the editing, uploading, scheduling, outreach, and planning—started pulling me away from the core mission.

When I think about Best You HQ, I feel two things: excited and nervous. That’s how I know it matters. I feel the responsibility to make it amazing. And I know I’ll never forgive myself if I go at it half-hearted.

So, I’m stepping away from the podcast not because I’m quitting. I’m stepping away because I’m choosing to go all-in on something new that lights a fire in my soul.

Consistency Isn’t Everything—Clarity Is

I’ve built my life and business around consistency. That’s why this decision felt so heavy. I asked myself: “Am I giving up? Or am I acting in wisdom?” And one quote helped me see things clearly.

Dr. Bishop Foreman once said, “We think clarity means certainty. But clarity just means less uncertain than before.”

And that’s where I am. I’m less uncertain than I’ve been in months. I’m not 100% sure, but I believe this pause is the right move. I'm acting in faith—and that’s what growth looks like.

What Happens Next (and Why You’ll Want In)

Even though the podcast is hitting pause, the mission isn’t. In fact, I’m just getting started.
